On Tuesday 18th June we hosted the Old J Spiced rum ‘Tiki does Darlo’ cocktail competition. Five competitors from establishments around the town created their own Tiki style cocktail. Points were awarded for; creativity, their story behind why they chose the ingredients they used, as well as their garnish method and presentation.
Two of our talented staff entered, Jay Whitehouse and Leon Wheatcroft who came in second and third place- Well done guys! Congratulations to Jim from Voodoo who was awarded first place. The other brilliant competitors represented the Devonport and The Pennweright.
